Ordering a Cake
When ordering a cake, please do try and give as much notice as possible. I am very flexible and can accommodate quite restrictive timescales, but the more notice given the more creative I can be. The standard notice period is two weeks.
Step 1: Information
Fill in the form on the Contact page with your name, contact details and as much information as you can about the cake you would like. Include how many people to feed, flavour (Chocolate, Vanilla, and Fruit) the date the cake is required, and the type of cake you would like, for example; a 3D Teddy Bear cake.
Alternatively you can email me directly on enquiries @ cakerella.co.uk or telephone St Albans (01727) 730898.
Step 2: Quote & Deposit
Upon receipt of your enquiry, I will make contact with you to discuss your exacting requirements, a price will be agreed, and a 50% deposit paid. If the cake is required less than the standard two weeks notice then full payment will be required.
Step 3: Payment
Payment of the deposit and/or full and final payment can be made via PayPal. I shall send an electronic invoice to your email account which will contain all the necessary instructions and links to PayPal. PayPal is an extremely safe and secure method of payment and enables you to pay with a credit or debit card, please note that you do not need to open an account with PayPal in order to pay via them.
If you do not have an email address to send an electronic invoice to then payment can be made by cash or cheque.
Step 4: Delivery
All cakes are delivered in a strong cake box to ensure they stay clean, dry and safe!
A standard delivery charge of £5.00 is applicable within St Albans, all other areas will be calculated on a per mile basis, I will include a price for delivery within the overall cake quotation.
Alternatively you can collect your cake from me, but please ensure that the cake can be stored flat where it won’t slip around.
